The best value cafes in Stockholm

Café culture is huge in Sweden. Many cafés will stay open until the early hours & the Swedes make Fika (coffee breaks) a regular part of their day. For Stockholm on a shoestring we have decided to focus on some of our favourite cafés – but you will find them everywhere – they offer a great alternative to expensive restaurants & encompass a large part of Swedish culture. Here are a few places that provide great value for money…as well as an excellent Fika experience!

We found this place quite by accident as it doesn’t look like anything special from the outside. Inside however, this roomy café exposes an original arch & stone wall, which combined with the brickwork gives the place a real sense of history & character.
